DESCRIPTION:Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center, 33 War
 ner Road, Huntington, NY will be holding its 12th annual Pet-A-Palooza
  on Saturday, August 15th & Sunday, August 16th. The shelter will 
 be open both days from 9am – 6pm for a fun-filled weekend that will 
 include food, music and entertainment, search & rescue displays by
  the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department, pet behavior information, 
 free giveaways, Little Shelter alumni festivities, dog contests, child
 ren’s games, karate demonstrations, Little Shelter “Pets on Parade
 ”, and a huge Chinese Auction. If you are considering adding a canin
 e or kitty companion to your home, Pet-A-Palooza is a great place to s
 tart your search – Little Shelter will have hundreds of adoptable an
 imals looking for loving homes. In addition, we will be hosting severa
 l other rescue groups with adoptable pets including: A Ferret Club, Bo
 xer Angels, Tri-State Bassett Rescue, Grateful Greyhounds, Internet Mi
 niature Pinscher Service, Suffolk County Unleashed, Horse Rescue and m
 ore.\n\nCoupled with this exciting event is a Blessing of the Animals.
  The blessing will commence at 3pm on Sunday, August 16th. Everyone is
  welcome to bring their pets to the shelter, to receive a special bles
 sing in this very touching ceremony that celebrates the bond we have w
